Dr. Gonzales graduated veterinary school at Western University of Health Sciences in 2010. Since then, he has worked in general practice, emergency / critical care, and shelter medicine. His interests include surgery, ophthalmology, as well as zoo animals and exotics. When he’s not working, he likes to bake dog treats from scratch with his wife at home. He has a pug and a special needs corgi who approve of his new recipes. He’s passionate about improving the human-animal bond and agrees with what famous poet Anatole France once said, “Until one has loved an animal; a part of one's soul remains unawakened”.
